Tutoring

The MAC's tutoring program features discipline-specific support. Tutoring provides students assistance with homework assignments and is available to those who prefer a one-on-one approach not offered in SI sessions. Students can drop in or schedule an appointment with a tutor during scheduled office hours.

Additionally, the MAC offers 24/7 online tutoring for Lyon students. Online tutors are available to assist in most subject areas offered by Lyon. The online platform is very intuitive and easy to use and can be accessed through a link found in Lyon's course management system, Canvas. There is no need to register for the service. Students simply click the link and they will go into the online classroom. Online tutoring is a good option for students who are away from campus or for those who need help when a an in-person tutor is not available.
