IRB Resources

Lyon College's Institutional Review Board (IRB) has developed a range of resources to help faculty, staff, and students learn more about our work!

On the Tutorials page, you can find videos that guide you through finding, filling out, and submitting important IRB documents (such as the Research Protocol Review Application, Research Protocol Renewal Application, Proof of Completion for Ethics Training Application, Interim Compliance Report Application, and Final Compliance Report Application).

You can find many templates for constructing your proposed project on the Templates page. These include consent form templates, Google Form templates, and more! Please note that these materials are optional; they are provided as additional guidance only.

Finally, on the Teaching Materials page, faculty can find PowerPoint slides (suitable for classroom teaching), in-class learning activities, and written assignments. These assignments can be modified to meet the needs of the instructor and class.

The Institutional Review Board (IRB) will occasionally host workshops and Q&A sessions. Information about these sessions will be circulated through Lyon College’s email listserv.
