Lyon College Historian Explores Why Gen. Horatio Gates Joined the American Revolution
Dr. Kieran O’Keefe, assistant professor of history at Lyon College, recently gave a conference presentation examining how Gen. Horatio Gates went from a loyal British officer to a key leader of the American Revolution. Dr. O’Keefe’s lecture, “Why Gen. Horatio Gates Became a Revolutionary,” was part of Fort Ticonderoga’s 20th Annual Seminar on the American Revolution on Sept. 21. It aired Saturday, Oct. 19, on American History TV on C-SPAN 2.

Lyon College Black Student Association turns 50 years young
The great thing about having such a diverse and inclusive community is the added bonus of always having an incredible support network that knows how to throw a great party.
