Lyon College Expands Study-abroad Opportunities Through New International Partnerships
Lyon College has announced the expansion of its study-abroad offerings through new international study-abroad partnerships with the Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia (UCAM) in Spain and The Hague University of Applied Sciences (THUAS) in the Netherlands.

First post-pandemic Lyon College study abroad group makes new waves
It has been over two years since the world first came to a halt in the wake of a global pandemic. For those two years the world was isolated, borders were closed, and travel was heavily restricted. Lyon junior accepted into Irish American Scholars program
Lyon College junior Hailey Williams, of Memphis, Tenn., has been accepted into the Irish American Scholars program.
She will attend Ulster University in Northern Ireland for five months in spring 2022. This will be Williams’ first time traveling outside of the United States.

Douglass embraces adventures abroad in Spain
Senior Elissa Douglass studied Spanish firsthand in Granada, Spain, this summer.
After attending a meeting about study abroad, Douglass, of League City, Texas, got in touch with Sol Education Abroad. Sol planned a two-week program in Granada for her and other students, organizing activities, arranging travel plans, and preparing them for the experience.
